"The initial communication from the host was good and a late check-in service was provided. I could give a five star review if a correct reserved room was provided. We booked a large room for a family of 4. However an attic room for 2 persons (only have one bed) was provided. It's too late, unable to contact the host to make a change."

"This is a gorgeous place to relax: amazing views, great food, luxurious spa, inviting pools. Also close to Orvieto and snd Bsgnoregio, if you can tear yourself away. We couldn’t, so we simply stayed here and relaxed and enjoyed!"

"We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. The owner/on-site chef made a fabulous 3 course meal for dinner, plus dessert, and breakfast was simply perfect If you do not have a car and anticipate hiring a taxi, I advise that you set up the taxi in advance and the owners will be happy to provide a number for you. "It was very inconvenient to get to the hotel because cars couldn’t get there being very narrow with the road. Reception was excellent, the room was very spacious. The shower was weak. The worst was the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hard boiled eggs were cold, taken out of the freezer and 2-3 days old where the yolks were very dark green. Yuck. All the pastries and pound cakes were not fresh and hard. Nothing is fresh and they charge you for the juices. Bad experience....

"My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We loved the property grounds and the view of Orvieto. The staff were welcoming and super helpful. During our stay the wifi was not good and hardly accessible, which was frustrating. The posting lists laundry facilities, which we assumed was accessible for guests to use on property, however, it was a service in which we gave our laundry to be cleaned and then ended up paying 25 euros and took over 36 hours to be returned.
