and shower curtain was not working properly.
Neighborhood was kind of sketchy at night but safe to
walk around during daylight.

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for visiting Mount Vernon and anything in the DC area. The rooms are very nice and have everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The local area has great restaurants. The grounds were well kept and had great space for traveling with pets. "
"Ask for Andrew at the Kiln bar-he mixes up a mean espresso martini. Reception people are great. Avoid room 226, as its bathroom window faces a VERY loud industrial AC unit (although it is nicely camouflaged with foliage). That was our only minor negative mark in our overwhelmingly positive stay. Book it. "
"The room was nice and the property was in a great location close to restaurants and stores.The only thing I would recommend is the staff make sure to clean the pull out sofa bed better. We couldn't use the pull out sofa bed because it was dirty. This was disappointing because the rest of the room was clean . "
