"rotating breakfast which is amazing !! it’s in a good neighborhood. gym open 24/7, pool open from 6am-10pm, and a laundry room is available. $2 in quarters for washer and dryer. they did ask for a $50 deposit once i arrived & it was sent back to me 5 mins after i checked out. Wonderful stay here."

"Stayed one night in a junior suite at Hilton Garden Inn North Shore and had one of the worst nights of sleep in a long time. The bed was extremely firm, and the pillows were completely worn out with little to no support. I woke up with extreme lower back pain. The room’s air conditioner made things worse. It was loud and oddly placed, with the vent right next to the bed blowing directly on me all night. The bar experience didn’t help. My martini was poorly made, as well as expensive. Forty dollars for two drinks and the bartender didn’t seem to know how to prepare a Cosmopolitan, which is a pretty standard cocktail. The room layout was also odd and not particularly functional. Overall, the hotel feels very worn. The carpet in the room was dirty, and the common areas showed visible signs of neglect. The elevator almost closed on me at one point and it shook loudly. This property is in clear need of a refresh. Would not stay again."

"Not a great experience. Building was having remodeling done, outside door was propped open by a rock, bathroom appeared to have been worked on since it was cleaned, with drywall dust on the surfaces, a sticky drink ring was on my end table, and the paint was peeling in our shower. The bed itself was good. "

"It's a good basic hotel but has two major setbacks: if you arrive after 11pm (as I did), their policy is that you have to call a staff member from the lobby and wait for them to arrive - not something I'd consider acceptable for any hotel. And they don't offer any breakfast, nada, nothing. Not sure who made these decisions, but both of these are basically cost of doing business if you run the hotel. On the upside, the room was clean and spacious (albeit dated) and the staff member who did check me in was super nice."
