"The hotel manger hazi was a bully .refused to change sheets or clean was rude and obnoxious was threatening to call police because i requested to change my sheets .claimed screaming that he has to take out laundry there for u can’t dirty at all .he gave me torn sheets and put stains on my sheets ! He refused to send housekeeping even for light clean .there were days no one even came ?! I was tired of moving four suitcases I took the abuse ! I was shock of how hazi the manger can and will bully a guest ! He refused to fix the safe. The safe was making noises the whole day and stay . I requested about 100 times to please allow me to put my belongings in my safe, but they refuse service because the manager told them even the cleaning people did not understand why he’s so against the customer. I was really afraid my stay was horrible just because of one person the other people were nice, but they were not managers. The only reason I stayed in a place that he turns off my Air Condition because he can control it from downstairs. I sometimes couldn’t sleep because of no air condition and I took all this abuse is because I was just exhausted. I was stuck in Isreal for over three months and I had four suitcases. Just imagine a manager controls the air condition and makes you not have one just because you can control it from downstairs. I did not sleep for nights because I was hot unbelievable.!"

"The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the view was amazing! We were on a mid level floor (9th floor). Mid level and high level rooms have all been remodeled and are really nice!!! Staff was amazing! Special thanks to Ofir for helping us to feel welcome, for making check-in and check-out extra smooth, and for helping out when I lost a dental retainer! Fabian and others were also great! "

"Would NOT recommend this hotel. They will take your money in a second, require double payment at check-in and charge your credit card and take over a week to refund, actually have not received a refund yet 7 days later. Check-In process was a terrible experience. The staff member was rude, told me I had not paid, that I was wrong, that my charge was virtual. It turns out I had paid, was correct and he was completely wrong. His rude attitude and presence set off a horrible week at Jewel Boutique Hotel. Had to spend an hour confirming with Hotels.com / Expedia that room had been pre-paid. The manager called the next day and said staff member was wrong and refund would be issued. Great problem solved, NEGATIVE! Like most people he had some excuse about it would take a few days. No problem, unfortunately a week later refund has not been issued. Have checked out and still do not have a refund. Horrible experience. Would not suggest this hotel. Most of the other staff was pretty nice and did a good job. This guy at check-in and manager ruined the rest of the experience. Pass on staying at this Hotel. "

"Everything about Maxim Hotel was excellent: the beach location, kind staff, delicious breakfasts, and clean rooms. I'm not an easy-to-please person, but that was my third stay there in a year, and I'm sure it won't be the last."

"Absolutely delightful boutique hotel! Highly recommend the daily breakfast, which is a wonderful spread of juices, cheeses, freshly baked breads and rolls, all kinds of fresh fruit, salmon, omelets and other egg dishes, coffee, tea, you name it. The daily Happy Hour is also an unexpected treat with various wines, a daily delicious soup, assortments of various nuts, etc. It’s located very close to the beach and also within walking distance of numerous shopping options. "The location of the hotel is great and the sea view is very nice (for sea view rooms). Furniture and rugs need deep cleaning. Some noise from a bar downstairs until midnight. Overall for the cost it is okay. "
