B&B in Fukui Prefecture

A wonderful stay. The morning service at the temple was a profound experience. The introduction to zazen was great, though Japanese speakers will get most out of this - ditto the lecture before morning service. The meals were excellent, and everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. All together, this short stay was a true highlight of my month in Japan. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Willing to explain all details. The house is well decorated and equipped with high quality furniture and home appliances with English instruction. High quality accommodation.

Hotel was the tops. Exptional room and amenities. Staff were great. Communications was really good. Room lacked hanging space for towels. We have been Japan for 5 weeks touring by bike. The Fairfield was by far the best.

A nice little retreat not too far from Amanohasidate. Great location, great sauna and fantastic breakfasts. The best place to just take a day or two to yourself.

Hotel is nice decorated with hot spring. It is good to enjoy our stay.

Excellent staff and facilities! 3rd Dormy inn I’ve stayed in during this trip. Hospitality here was the best. I give highest praise to the dine-in staff serving the free Ramen in the evening - cheerful even late at night and great ramen! The hotel is about 6-7 minutes away from Fukui station. Convenient for those taking the Echizen to see the Tojinbo/Oshima and Dino-museum (a must). Also about 8 minutes away from Europa-Ken birthplace of the Sauce-Katsura. Everything was fine. Only our room did not have a bath.

We have travelled in Japan for 2 weeks and this was our favorite stay. Excellent staff and accomadation. If ever back in Japan we will be staying for longer.

At the price, Its a modern unit, fairly average sized, Nice bed, Very good Breakfast. Far better than some places we stayed in Japan
