"No one needs to speak other languages if they’re fluent in technology. I don’t speak Japanese, and I guess a lot of the staff there don’t speak English — which is understandable. The lady at the counter pulled out a translator app, and everything that needed to be communicated got done without any hiccups. Quiet and clean. Customizable room service. The corridor air conditioning was pretty cold — not to my taste. All in all, I enjoyed my stay (2 nights)."

"Our stay was a great experience. I was able to relax and decompress despite my very short 16h stay thanks to the private and public open air baths, snacks, yukata, and attentive and welcoming staff. We initially were not sure how to get to the property from the Shirakawa Go bus terminal and had started a 30-minutr walk. But!--before we got to far, we spotted a shuttle with the Onyado Yui no Sho sign. We luckily were able to board the shuttle. We opted for the dinner and breakfast reservations and it definitely was a highlight of the experience-- traditional and fresh foods served as 3(?) courses, presented in beautiful dining pieces. Our sever was very friendly and accommodating, and even sought feedback on his English! (He shared with us that he has studied and plans to continue studying abroad, and his English will only improve!) I am very awe-inspired by the staff's dedication to hospitality. Our room was beautiful, clean, and spacious! Beds were comfortable. I will plan to return to Onyado Yui no Sho in the near future for much needed self-care and healing."

"Check in was very smooth and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Although they do not have a on premise carpark area, you can park in a multi level carpark that is connected to the hotel with a special 24 hr rate of 1500 yen. Very convenient. Also, easy to get food as it is just opposite the train station."

"Very safe and convenient location. The hotel and room were both tidy and clean. Good value for the price. Only one thing I was very close to the elevator and heard the noises of people walking by often. Otherwise I enjoyed the stay very much."
