"Room was very clean and fresh, downside a double bed, adults really need a king size regardless of what you’re paying, parking is mostly on street and easy, overall the hotel is well kept and modern."

"I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The entire place felt very dated and had a musty, unpleasant smell throughout. The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The bedding was poor quality, with worn pillowcases and visible dirty marks (as shown in my photos). This is simply not an acceptable standard for any hotel. The floors were also dirty, with bits of debris everywhere — I felt I had to keep my shoes on at all times. There were also visible cobwebs around the bed...

The gym is excellent, the pool is nice and warm, though too crowded and may be a bit small for the hotel size plus club members plus lodges. Due to the beautiful location it is complicated to get around without a car. "

"Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend St.Leonards Guest House. Lovely room, quirky and very well presented, exceptionally clean and a comfortable bed. Great having the fridge in the room with fresh milk for tea and coffee. Beautiful selection for breakfast. The host Keith was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond during our stay. We would stay here again without hesitation."

"Hotel is very run down, we waited at the reception for a bit before being seen to! Hallway and stairs are in need of a good clean and paint! Very run down. Room was freezing, no heating on. Damp on windows and ceiling and that was supposed to be a refurbished room! Needless to say we didn’t stay and left straight away! Out of pocket. Light fitting in hall hanging down from ceiling (dangerous). Hallway hadn’t even been hoovered. STAY CLEAR OF THIS HOTEL!!! "
