This is our 2nd visit here and we have booked again for Easter. Absolutely love this place it’s ideally situated for central Chania and just a few metres from the buzz of the harbour. The rooms are lovely and well equipped and the bed is so comfortable, bathroom perfect and very clean and housekeeping every day. You have to walk a short way to their sister hotel for breakfast but all adds to the ambience. The breakfasts are fab with lots of choice. The only tiny issue is that there is no lift...

Incredible hotel which we’d recommend wholeheartedly! Hotel staff went out of their way to offer the warmest Greek welcome and first class service, especially Apostolos, Renata, Anna-Maria and the other young man who served breakfast. Hotel is beautifully decorated, with stunning sea view rooms and a wonderful roof terrace. Delightful breakfast with plenty of local treats to sample. Very close to both ports and right in the centre, but quiet. We hope we’ll be back! Efharisto poli!

What made this place special is the host or manager. A few days before the stay, he had tried to keep in touch with you, and during the whole stay, assisted you through, dining places, transport from and to the next stop and room assistance, etc. Any enquiries were responded within a matter of minutes, via WhatsApp. The best host I had ever encountered. You will surely have a peace of mind in his hands.

Elia is a newly renovated hotel (2015) located right next to the Cathedral in a pedestrianised shopping street. We stayed in one of the suites on the fourth floor, this consisted of a room with a king size bed (with tempur foam matress and pillows no less), a separate lounge with TV and sofa bed and a bathroom with a big electric shower. This hotel could easily be a 4 Star. Free parking and only 2-3 km away from town. Hotel also offers a free shuttle to the town until midnight. Eva was outstanding every morning as she welcomed us with a smile on her face and very polite. We stayed in Pasiphae, the Avra apartment over two levels and with a balcony overlooking the harbour. It was amazing, without a doubt one of the best holiday apartments we have stayed in.
