The property was beautiful, it had been renovated so was still rustic with high ceilings, old doors, huge rooms and hallways.

Excellent place to stay to sleep several days, location next to shopping, you are served as if you were at home, a few blocks from the historic center where you can go at night to dinner in countless restaurants, to go to the beach needs a car is just 5 min.

A real Gem
This was a treasure. Bit hard to find bit once we located a total GEM. Thank you Elena for your gracious hospitality. Room was gorgeous. Breakfast on the Terrace was very enjoyable. 10 min walk to the center with lots of seaside restaurants. Will certainly return to this hotel.

This beautiful and comfortable place is perfectly positioned in Gallipoli, Italy. The high ceilings create your own personal chapel in your clean and restful room! The staff is EXCELLENT! ottima struttura, la Signora Elena molto disponibile e gentile, pronta a soddisfare le proprie esigenze, il B&B è situato a 20m dal corso centrale ed a 7-8' a piedi dal centro storico. Ottimo.

Hôtel très agréable, les chambres sont spacieuses Pas loin du centre historique à pied, petit bémol le stationnement payant tout autour et pas beaucoup de place. C'est sympa d’être hébergé dans un ancien hôtel particulier

Accueil très pro et agréable. Très bien placé dans le centre ville. Palais rénové de façon très sobre et chic. Grande chambre calme Petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse de l immeuble par un personnel très attentionné et sympathique A recommander sans hesitation

Pourquoi ces mauvaises notes non pas que l'hôtel n'est pas propre n'est pas superbe bien bien entretenu ni que le personnel n'y est pas sympathique bien au contraire tout cela méritait au minimum 4 par contre au niveau tarifaire comme c'est l'un de nos repères entre la qualité et le prix nous avons réservé une chambre qui a un tarif 240 € devait nous permettre d'avoir une baignoire avec des jets Vincent à notre arrivée le personnel nous a directement dirigé vers une très jolie chambre certes mais sans la baignoire alors que la chambre avec baignoire était libre ils ne l'ont pas proposé l'emplacement de l'hôtel dans la ville et l'hôtel propose un parking souterrain pour 10 € suite à une discussion lors du paiement leur faisant remarquer que la veille le jour même et les jours suivants l'hôtel était mise à prix à 80 € nous trouvions que le tarif de 140 € sans la baignoire était un peu exagéré non seulement ils n'ont fait aucun prix mais en plus ils ont encaissé les 10 € du parking qui aurait plus de très bien offrir en compensation donc attention dans le choix de votre chambre et surtout lorsque vous arrivez que vous avez payé pour une chambre avec baignoire exigée

Un B&B non lontano dal centro storico. Avevamo una camera grande con letto nel soppalco che non è la soluzione più comoda. Discreta la colazione nella bella terrazza. In generale un buon giudizio

We stayed for 2 night at Carlo V and can recommend everyone this fantastic place. Nice, welcoming and friend’s staff that helped us with everything we asked for and were available 24/7. Also a nice acceding garage for a cheap cost. Nice and clean room with good size and modern bathroom and a fully working, lifesaving, air condition. A nice terrace with good breakfast and also located on the main street in Gallipoli with restaurants, shopping and sea just around the corner. It is also really easy to get to Baia Verde with beach life and beach clubs, when you want to leave the city for a while. Once again I recommend this hotel for everyone and will definitely book it once again when coming back to Gallipoli.

Ottima posizione ma che caldo!
Posizione centrale, stanze confortevoli, arredamento nuovo e pulizia. Essendo posta all'ultimo piano di un vecchio stabile la stanza risultava calda nel mese di giugno. Ottima la colazione in terrazza. Scarsa possibilità di parcheggiare ma abbiamo optato per il parcheggio a pagamento della struttura (con entrata non proprio agevole).

Cosa dire...Esperienza UNICA. Mai visto nulla simile. A partire dall'accoglienza e dal modo di fare di tutto lo staff, che ti fanno sentire da subito "a casa". Un palazzo antico ristrutturato sapientemente, dove nulla è stato lasciato al caso. Camere spaziosissime, bagni ampi e docce comodissime. Pulizia maniacale. Avevamo prenotato una camera Superior, ma abbiamo usufruito di un upgrade gratuito in camera Deluxe, potendo così godere di un bagno rilassante nella fantastica Jacuzzi idromassaggio. Inoltre, abbiamo consumato, nel bellissimo salone affrescato, una colazione "luculliana"....... Salmone, formaggi, affettati, mozzarelline, burrate, uova, bacon, e poi ancora, pasticciotti, biscotti casarecci e buonissime torte fatte dalle mogli dei titolari, oltre a frutta, yogurt, succhi, caffè, cappuccini. Senza alcuna limitazione di sorta....... La location è fantastica. Infatti, il palazzo si trova nella parte più viva della città, dove ci sono i migliori negozi, bar, gelaterie etc. Vi si arriva facilmente e soprattutto si è lontani dal traffico. A soli 700 metri dal centro storico che si raggiunge in 10 minuti di passeggiata. Preziosi i consigli sui ristoranti, rigorosamente selezionati dalla direzione del relais, che consigliamo di ascoltare se volete mangiare pesce fresco e piatti fantastici. Pertanto, il Relais Carlo V è certamente una eccellenza a Gallipoli. Appena potremo, ci torneremo sicuramente. Grazie ragazzi!!!! P.S. La struttura è dotata di box auto

Expérience très mitigée.
En arrivant, nous avons croisé un ouvrier peintre qui rangeait ses échelles . Les travaux venaient juste de se terminer la veille du 1er mai, début de la saison. Aux dires du patron, l'hôtel ne sera décoré que l'année prochaine. Nous avons donc passé notre séjour dans un hotel neuf mais non décore, dont le personnel , inexpérimenté et manquant de professionnalisme,ne manquait pas de bonne volonté . Petit déjeuner correct.
