"Our favorite in Florence. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We went to Cortona for a week and bookended our stay at Bernini. The staff arranged for us to pick up and drop off a rental car at the hotel, made everything super easy. Can’t say enough great things. "

"Hotel was absolutely lovely. Very clean, comfortable beds, and nice bathroom. Water took a while to get warm in the shower, and the lighting was a little dark for doing makeup, but otherwise no complaints of the facility. The streets below can be a little noisy at night, at least until past midnight, so if that is bothersome bring ear plugs. Very close to many attractions and shops. Would stay here again."

"Great location at center of Florence yet very close to the train station! Very quiet at night, much needed after long days of bus tours etc. Bed was very comfortable, linens very soft The buffet breakfast was great. The coffee served by staff was delicious and also serving Americano coffee exceptional! Best of all, the staff work very hard to maintain the exceptional comforts of this hotel. Following up with how the room is, and always willing to help including the cleaning ladies for rooms! Work ethic, above and beyond for the travellers. Great hotel, best staff! "Location!! We took trains almost every day and this hotel is right across the street from the station. There was no noise from the trains or busy street while trying to sleep. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was good every day. Hotel is clean and always felt safe late at night. Walkable to tourist spots and Oltrarno. It was a perfect choice for us! "

"This is one of the most unique hotels I have ever stayed at. It's themed for Dante's Inferno so there are Heaven rooms and Hell rooms. We booked a basic Heaven room and were upgraded to a room with a balcony. The room was clean and spacious, but it's important to note that the bathrooms are not the most private. There is one area for the shower and another for the toilet - both have frosted plexiglass doors but the sound travels. To me, this is a property for couples - I can't imagine staying here with kids. There are several amenities like a nice gym and a billiards room. The lobby is also very large and comfortable - it was a good place to relax before our evening train to Rome. We added the breakfast which was adequate and convenient. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this property."

"Super charming and stylish (traditional Florentine) hotel. Many rooms (eg mine) overlook beautiful Piazza Santa Maria Novella and its church. Lovely views. Nice bathroom, very professional and friendly service from all the personnel there. The street level bar (inside outside sections) seem to be favored by cool locals as well as guests. The food menu covered lots of bases and everything I sampled was delicious. Check out the Napoleon salon! "
