"Do not stay here. The place is in need of a complete remodel or torn down and started over. Carpet was frayed and dirty, furniture all chipped & worn. Bedspread had cigarette burn holes in it. Staff was not friendly or helpful. If we had not been completely exhausted from traveling I would have demanded my money back & gone elsewhere."

When we checked in and asked the lady at the counter how she was doing she said bored! While we were in our room we heard Glass shattering loudly outside. "The staff doesn’t honor your price on Expedia. They only give one card which is abnormal. The room is clean and has nice amenities. However, the toilet was very small and any man would have problems with it."

"Clean rooms, close to food and freeway. We could hear the people upstairs walking around, including waking us up just before 3 when we had planned to leave at 0500. Looks like they’ve been updating rooms. My pre-teen was not happy that the bathroom had no lock but it didn’t become an issue as when there are 3 of you it is easy to know if someone is in the bathroom."

"The rooms are updated and clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. We had two lamps not working when we checked in. We alerted the front desk and he came and fixed them right away. The house keeping service came by and offered us fresh towels etc. We requested a non-smoking room overlooking Garrison Avenue, and that is what we got. It is walking distance from dowtown Ft. Smith. This is a great hotel for the price."

"My son cut his foot in process of glass inside of the closet when he was building a fort. It happened on Valentine’s Day.. he had to be rushed to the ER and He had to get stitches! "
