"Did not like the distance you have to walk to your room. One elevator is out of service so you had to walk very far to the end of the property. Check in directions were not clear at all. They need more people available to help with guests to get to their suites because of the long distance and the broken elevator. The shuttle operators were the most friendliest they provided us with more info about where to go and what to do then the front desk did."

"This property was amazing! The staff was great! We enjoyed the adults only pool, and had excellent service there! We had drinks and a burgers at the sports bar and it was great! What a fabulous place for a weekend getaway less than an hour from where we live!"

"My husband and I were able to check in right on time. We were given a helpful overview of the property, a map, and list of the numerous amenities (complimentary kayaks, bikes, beach towels, pools and hot tubs, as well as the many restaurants, shops, rentals, and beach services) and opening and closing times said amenities. Prices for amenities and rentals were reasonable in my opinion. The restaurants range in price from reasonable to upscale dining. Our room was exactly as pictured. The entire property including the private beach - which was just across the road - were exceptionally clean. My only complaint was our bed was very firm for our tastes. The Gulf side beach was gorgeous. We saw many shore birds and dolphins. The bay side features a large marina and manatees in the cove. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in mid September and it appeared that most of the rooms were filled, but it was still very relaxing, quiet, and uncrowded. The location is excellent. It's easy to find off the main road through the islands and it's only a short drive to the attractions and beaches in both Sanibel and Captiva. Overall I would recommend and would stay here again."

"This Motel was wonderful, perfect room, nice sized fridge, very nice big shower. The room was nice, cold and clean. Love that you have windows to open. The owners were so kind. Our neighbors were very nice, nobody bothers you. It was nice not having housekeeping bothering you, or waiting to go in your room. If we needed anything a guy was on site to help if we needed more towels or trash bags and he was very nice to talk to. We were able to just enjoy our stay and it was awesome . I can't remember staying in a place that just felt so comfortable but this one is definitely the spot for us so far. It's quite and very close to everything. I honestly was surprised with it being on a main road that the traffic would be bad or you were hear loud music from cars but none of that happened. We honestly didn't want to leave. Parking was perfect, we have a very big truck and we were able to park right by our room. They also have An area to park your boat or trailer. Love the cameras, it makes you feel safe. 711 is right next door and Walmart is right down the street. They have awesome TV channels, it was like being at home, we didn't miss anything:) We stayed 4 days and the price wasn't too bad considering it's not far from the beaches. We highly recommend Lemon Bay Motel. I think next time I'll bring my blower though so I can get rid of the sand mess I made in the parking lot. I felt so bad. Also love the blinds. No light gets through"
