It was a fairly basic room but perfect for a few days in Genoa. Comfortable bed, clean room, fresh towels daily and friendly staff, in a great location about a 15 minute walk from the popular Molo area. Considering it is located on a busy street, the sound proofing is good and it was quiet at night. The only downside was the size of the shower - could do with being more spacious.

Great location very handy to train station onky a 5 min walk. Plenty of shops and very easy walk to marina. Only stayed one night on our way to Cinque Terre. Staff ensued we arrived ok as we had a late arrival.

We stayed one night at Hotel Nologo ahead of our cruise departure. It was what you expect for a budget hotel. Hotel is conveniently placed and service agents were present for morning and check-in. Cleanliness was ok however there was a musty smell throughout corridors and guest room bathroom. Served its purpose. Would stay again if only for a stopover sleep.

Breakfast was wonderful, especially for 4.5 Euros. Room was suitable for budget hotel, quite clean and nice windows. Could have used some water glasses. Was quiet two out of three nights, but one night couple next door started screaming fight at one am and kept up loud talking until three am. Walls were thin. Was incredibly annoying.

Rooms are loud (for rooms situated at main street! Almost until Midnight. Also the doors are simple, you could listen to the actions in the floors. Hear every single sound from outside. Very basic rooms. Do not expect too much, according the descriptions here. Bathroom very small. Bed very simple and mattresses hurt my back. Hotel needs definitely a deeeeeeep renovation. I did not understand the concept. Rooms categorised according music style, but only walls are painted according that concept. Nothing else. Old key system. You get cards for using elevator and electricity in the room. BUT get additionally a key to open the room. The elevator is very small. Two people and two bags max. Reception located first floor. Hotel very good located. I am not a person staying at 5 star hotels. I would never book it again for this price: 87€ per night for two without breakfast. Instead of ordering a taxi use the IC trains from Geneva Prinicoal to Geneva Brignole at just 6 mins walk to hotel.

Overall, everything was fine — clean rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location. However, parking was a challenge. The hotel collaborates with a nearby parking facility, which can be arranged after arriving. Alternatively, you can try to find a public parking spot, which is not easy in the area. In both cases, be prepared for additional costs.
