"We really like staying at the Gison's Warehouse. I felt so comfortable in the room - it was clean, stylish, roomy, and had extras that made us feel important. The woman (assuming she is the owner) made sure we got in okay and shared with us where to dine. We will be traveling by there frequently and plan on making this one of our usual stops. Thanks for a wonderful experience! "
"Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! "
"While the property is lovely and the stay has been nice, I will say that the information provided before finalizing the booking was missing pertinent information.
There was no mention of the two sets of stairs at the front entrance. There was no mention of receiving a code for entry to property until after I booked a non-refundable booking. I had sent a query to the property but did not receive an answer before booking later the same day (the day of arrival).

"The hotel is beautiful in a large estate-like property so it is very grand. The area is quiet but close to the town. You can walk to town (about 12 minute walk). The room was small (we got the classic room) but comfortable since we didn't spent much time there as we were in town most of the day. I would stay there again. It has great history."
"It did not smell like many hotels but that applies only to second and third floors. Tub plumbing fixtures needed tweaking. We would definitely go back again."
"I stay at this hotel at least twice a year. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. My dog is welcomed. He even gets toys and treats sometimes when we are there. The staff are very friendly and I will continue to stay in this hotel when I travel."
"The first thing I noticed was everything you see when you arrive is geared towards making you feel welcome. This continued with checking in. Fast, friendly and helpful. The whole experience continued through the whole stay. We got several texts asking how we were enjoying our time and asking if we needed anything just ask. Small details that stand apart from others. "When we drove up to the property, I was not impressed. The outside needed some basic maintenance. Weeds were overgrowing the landscape rocks and some general attention. But once inside, the property is very nice and well maintained. Our room was quite comfy and clean although the bathroom is a bit small. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection of choices. Overall, this property was for our one night stay needs. "
"Just park your car and walk to see Staunton Historic District. The rental was AWESOME!!!! Just like the pictures. Nice neighborhood. We decided to stay an extra day, the communication was quick & done. We are already talking about coming back in spring. The whole experience was wonderful. Book this, you’ll love your stay :)"
