"This hotel is not for you if you want modern key carded rooms. Most certainly there is a regal atmosphere in its accommodation. The bedroom gave me concern as it was at the top of the main stairs and could have been noisy however that was not the case. It was quiet and very adequate in value for money. "Cheap but very grim. Owners haven’t spent a penny on it forever. Nothing finished even the fitting of the floors or removing old furniture. I don’t mind cheap and I don’t mind rustic, but strikes me of money for nothing. "

"The rooms were spacious and looked like they were recently renovated. Everything was clean and tidy, easy parking, welcoming hostess. It’s out of the town but a short drive to the town and shops. "
