"Great place and location for Yellowstone visit. Regardless of nice, convenient property, it’s overpriced. Breakfast needs help. Biscuits slightly soggy. Gravy too runny. More like thick water. Offer more muffin and danish selection. Cutup fruit was frozen; not even allowed to thaw before putting out. Facilities and room were clean. Staff helpful. Maintenance seemed to be always cleaning and caring for common areas."

"Everything was great except the bed in our room. We had a hard time sleeping because the bed was too soft. We kept rolling into the center. Wife had backache. For the super early birds that's trying to get into the park before 5am, it would be nice if there was some coffee ready in the lobby."

"1872 Inn exceeded my expectations. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all so kind and helpful. Check in was easy, and it was very nice being escorted to our room and shown were the amenities were. Breakfast each morning offered a variety of hot and cold options, and staff continually cleaned and refilled. I chose this inn while in town for the Yellowstone 1/2. It was an easy 6/7 min walk to the start line. Would choose this hotel again. "

"The place is very conveniently located. However, the staff was not very helpful. When asked to refill the hand soap in the room, they asked to come back to the lobby to pick it up. The breakfast options were not great."

"The room was minimal at best. We were are the ground floor and when you waked the floor creaked. When the people above us walked or moved in bed it was really loud and disruptive. The breakfast was not good at all."

"The Cabins were beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. We got a bigger one where there were 3 queen size beds. This is a great deal for a family of 4 or more. The cabin was charming! We will be back."
