"Excellent location....down a small lane but felt safe enough. Staff could not have been nicer. Rooms are well equipped as an aprthotel. However the bed was only accessible from the one side as the other side was against the wall, so it was either clamber over each other or shuffle down the bed. Not ideal. Also 9am the cleaning started and the slabs on the walkways made for a ver loud cleaning trolley which woke us up every morning. Not ideal. The bed was v comfortable tho. "

"Our stay at Hotel Grand Francais was fantastic. One of the most underrated elements was that there was an amazing cocktail bar associated with the Hotel that was standout. The location felt very secure, was convenient to a ton of restaurants. The room was very clean and service was great. The breakfast spread was also delicious. Cafes and restaurants seemed to open quite late, so would recommend taking advantage of the breakfast. Would absolutely stay again when in Bordeaux!"

"General wipe down areas, kitchenette and bathroom were generally clean however, decor finishes; skirting, doors, floor etc. were dusty and not clean.
Room was located on the 1st floor overlooking the plaza and was particularly noisy early morning due to deliveries (6am onwards) and late night noise due to the local restaurants.
Internal hotel noise was minimal. Possibly due to other guests knowing from experience, NOT to be located at a low level overlooking the Plaza. "
