"The guy at check in was nice. He said the room would be ready a little early but it wasn’t. Not a big deal. The rooms are normally pretty clean but this time I found dog food and crumbs on the floor and there were stains on the bed linens. The mirrors were not clean either. I noticed they were training new cleaning staff so maybe they forgot a few things. I’ll give them another chance because this place is ideal for my trips to Fruita. It’s right by I 70 and easy to get to GJ or Monument. The Mexican restaurant across the street is really good and nice staff too. There’s a tiny pool but I don’t use it. The continental breakfast was basic and sufficient. The breakfast area was clean every morning and ready at 6am."
