"The room was clean, comfortable and good size. The upstairs bar was a nice touch and the breakfast offerings were excellent. The staff was helpful and the hotel offers a discount at the nearby parking garage. The hotel is within walking distance to the Market area with restaurants, etc."

"The nicest people of all the places we stayed in Scotland- also the least expensive. The neighborhood is a little bit seedier than some others, so that is probably why it was cheaper, but it wasn’t bad and we felt perfectly safe. Was the only hotel that actually had two double beds and also they had washcloths! Apparently that is a novelty in Scotland. Staff were very helpful and I wish we had more than one night there because it was a much nicer experience than all of the other places we stayed."

"The hotel was in a Central location close to transport links and the staff were very pleasant and helpful such as during check-in and storing luggage. While we knew that some of the rooms would not have windows, a more substantial and opaque door/panelling between the bedroom area and the bathroom would have been preferred."
