"Very unique being a castle. Has to be seen to be believed! It was comfortable. However, Amsterdam has little to offer. Pretty run down, no stores anywhere. Breakfast is not included as the dining room is closed down. Closest place to get breakfast is about a 3 mile drive away. In such a strange place, there is actually a great Italian restaurant almost across the road. The only restaurant around. Glad we saw the castle and experienced it but we will not be back to Amsterdam."

Serene Getaway B & B

"This B & B was fantastic. The interior is so beautiful and a lot of the logs to build it came off of the property (trees that had fallen). It is so serene and quiet. Fantastic place to stay and relax yet close enough to a town (15 minutes or so) to get groceries or whatever you may need. It has a full kitchen to use and plenty of places to sit and relax. Monique, the owner, is so caring and thoughtful. She made us feel so welcome. The food that she prepared was wonderful. You can never go wrong with homemade yogurt, homemade breads, Belgium style french toast (my favorite) and more! I will stay here again!!!"
