HOMEBOUND APARTMENTS Bad Goisern

"Great spacious apartment with all the amenities you need. Lovely big kitchen space with everything you need and a great balcony. Lovely big bathroom and comfy bed. It was really helpful to be able to do some washing and have access to a spacious garage for our car. Only slight issue is we couldn't find the key code to open the garage gate, its very hard to spot at the top of the drive and no obvious sign. It wasn't just us as another couple did the same thing when we came back one day and had to tell them where it was. However as an apartment it was excellent and in a fab location for exploring the surrounding area. The little supermarket up the road is also fab and bigger than you think, plus there is a Hofer(Aldi) a very short drive away which was handy"

"We spent 2 nights here and really enjoyed it. Location: Close enough to walk to the Belvedere. Public transportation was very easy to navigate and the stops are right there. Bed: I loved it. A little on the firm side and the pillows were great. Amenities/Features: The gym has a stunning view and is well-equipped. The rooftop bar is gorgeous. The luggage lockers (not free) are secure and very easy to use if you arrive early or stay later than checkout. Staff: Very friendly and helpful Worth noting: Aside from the gorgeous design (which also made it extremely easy to spot when walking back from a day of exploration), they give you a ticket for Prosecco/wine/beer for each day you don’t have your room cleaned. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Salzburg is a very tourist oriented city. As such we ended up spending way too much for a night of accommodation at this hotel. It's location is convenient to many of the local attractions. Restaurants surround the area yet it was quiet. The hotel reception staff are top notch. Informative, helpful and efficient. The water and assorted snack items at check in were much appreciate. Our room was small but clean. The in room amenities like the hot coffee pods and assorted tea came in very useful as we ran into high winds and cold temperatures (10*C with windchill reducing it to 4*C) during one day of our trip. The included buffet breakfast had a great selection of A LA Carte and buffet. Sooooo many choices and good quality of items. The staff members work hard to keep the tables clean and the space available for all patrons. The bed was most uncomfortable and had motion transfer issues . This occurs when sleepers shift or toss and turn, the movement travels across the bed to disrupt sleep. I really require top quality beds while travelling. Personally would not return but the hotel had it's positives and negatives."

"There was nowhere to leave luggage and found the man who runs the b&b not helpful in fact quite rude there was no facilities ie kettle to make a drink. The room i had, a had to shared a tolet wouldn't recommend if I wanted this sort of accommodation I would have booked a hostel."

"Great location, close to historic centre. Lots of restaurants and shops. Parking was a little challenging, but the staff was very helpful in getting that sorted out."
