Management was very accommodating and helpful. The pool and spa was lovely after sports. Location is great between beach and shopping and restaurants. Currently roadworks during the night are very noisy and disturbing.

We had a relaxed and confortable stay at Portobello. The Property Managers were excellent and eager to help with any request. The unit itself was clean and easy to access. It is extremely close to Transport options and Pacific Fair shopping centre.

Very much liked everything that was provided in the apartment, including a full kitchen and a washing machine. Staff were friendly and helpful. All communication prior to checking in was clear and useful. Secure parking. Close proximity to the beach, public transport and Pacific Fair are also added to the experience.

I booked this property on the same day as I was going to be checking in and had a huge issue getting in contact with the property for the checkin information. Apparently when booking on Expedia they do not forward your email address or phone to the property which is very strange. I enailed the property multiple times with no answer. So I called Expedia and they told me that they also couldn't get in contact with the property and at this point I should just cancel my reservation (which I did not want to do). After 2 hours of emailing and calling I finally got in contact with the property and they had the keys waiting for me. It was extremely inconvenient being that we had to wait so long to checkin, we were traveling for 2 days and we just want to shower and relax and we were just waiting around to checkin. The apartment was very nice besides the smell as soon as you opened the apartment door it smelled dirty and greasy. The area rug in the livingroom was filthy and needs to be thrown away. I think the smell was coming froma combination of the couch and the rug. Other than that the apartment was nice. Also there is construction being done right next to the property and they start banging very early in the morning.

We spent two weeks in a lovely two bedroom apartment. Managers Marty and Dorelle, were outstanding hosts, extremely helpful and accommodating. The apartment was clean with everything we required. Pool was warm and well maintained. Close to the beach, Pacific Fair and dozens of restaurants. We will be returning next time we are on the Gold Coast. Highly recommend accomodation!
