"Very welcoming. Felt like staying at a friend or family members home. Very polite and respectful staff. Close walk to village for any supplies needed, and plenty of restaurant choices. Love the out door veranda and comfortable lounge deck chair. Plenty of space so not to feel on top of each other. Comfortable bedding and very nicely decorated. I will stay again when I’m in Ashgrove."

"The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, hot water kettle and dishes. The room was clean and also had a washer/dryer in the bathroom which I loved. We checked in after hours and had limited interaction with the staff but the few times they were friendly. The only thing that I noticed that could have been better is the carpet in the hallway from the elevator to our room appeared to have not been vacuumed while we were there. "Very bad experience. The room was dirty, and the bedsheets and blankets were not clean at all. The swimming pool was also extremely dirty and looked unhygienic. As soon as you enter the hotel, you can immediately feel the lack of cleanliness everywhere. There was also a bad smell throughout the hotel. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone."

"Great location in the heart of Queens St mall. We were there over Anzac day so the only thing to note is that the streets are closed on that day from 9am to 3pm so it was pretty much impossible to get in or out of the hotel during those hours."
