"Die Nähe zu den Kreuzgangspielen bringt uns immer wieder gern in dieses Hotel. Wir waren im Herrenhaus und dort mit dem Zimmer sehr zufrieden. Es ist ruhig und das Zimmer groß und bietet allen Komfort mit großem Bad (mit Fenstern). Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Beim Frühstück würde ich (Veganerin) mir noch vegane Aufstriche (gibt's auch abgepackt und lange haltbar) und Hafermilch wünschen."

"Convenience: located within the medieval walls of Rothenburg. The valet parked our car, and we walked everywhere. Close to restaurants, activities, and shops. Runs a little like a BNB. Beautiful: the area is gorgeous, and the hotel is 750+ years old, which makes it charming and interesting. Food: dinner is amazing - the best meal we had in Germany and Austria on a 2-week trip. NOTE: the restaurant closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so make an effort to get there on the other days - well worth...

"This is a very nice hotel. We were lucky to get a room with AC and grateful for that given the heat! The breakfast is nice though not as extensive as some other places we stayed in Germany. "I had a wonderful stay here! The staff were very kind and accommodating. I stayed in the single economy room which was perfect for one solo traveler. Nice castle! Good location if you are exploring Franconia on bike or foot as there are trails throughout the countryside that go through various towns. Nice breakfast here that is free with coffee too!"

"We had a lovely room tucked in the eaves. It was clean and comfortable with lovely coffee and tea facilities. Despite the outside temperature being pretty hot,we were able to sleep. Car parking great, staff welcome excellent. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on food."

"Excellent location and beautiful hotel. We were there during the heat wave and there’s no AC. It was probably 80 degrees in our room. The staff was very nice to give us an extra table fan but it was still very hot until 4 am when it cooled off outside. We opened all of the windows and propped the front door. It was cooler in the hallway than our room. I would still stay there again, we might just buy our own fans next time."
