"A wonderful, quiet place just a couple of miles north of Acadia NP and not just a paradise for golfers. Unfortunately, their restaurant is closed on Mondays, but the staff at reception gave us a couple of useful hints. Breakfast was amazing and the view from the deck is breathtaking! Will be back on our next visit!"

"Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. Not so friendly RV "neighbors" who felt it ok to have a projected light show, and be loud and obnoxious past 10 pm. We...

We were also aware before arriving that the pool is no longer available, although it is not physically removed as of yet. Note that it is a slightly older hotel, so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room, since there is no elevator to the second floor. "Really nice remodeled inside, the outside of the building doesn’t look so nice, but great inside. Friendly staff who have maps and recs for local things that we appreciated. Lemonade was a good touch in the lobby. The breakfast was really good, wasn’t expecting it to be better than many chain hotels we have stayed at.
