Beautiful period hotel with amazing period features. OK, the rooms are a little tired but ours was clean and perfectly functional. Hotel has a decent cocktail bar and safe, free parking to the rear where there are ramps for disabled access. Close to downtown with numerous drinking and dining options. Overall, enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area

Good hotel to stay to break our long journey. Check in quick and easy, lady at the front desk friendly and helpful. Room clean and good size. Some road noise but to be expected for the location. Wouldstay again.

Very courteous staff, hotel looks brand new. I recommend it. We were passing through and the location is a few miles from the highway but still worth the stop overnight

This is a welcoming hotel. Rooms are large and well-equipped. Breakfast was complimentary and was the best we had in our 15 day road trip. I tend to stay at Springhill suites again if others are as good as this one.

Lovely welcome from the staff member on reception. Room lovely and clean and beds very comfy, best nights sleep in the last two weeks. Handed a local map of the old town and had a short drive back into the town and visited the museums around. Lovely place. Love tocome back and visit the surrounding battle field sites.

You might not have many choices within the heart of Gore, but Expedia can help you find lodging options in the area with similar amenities to an apartment. When you search for a place to stay on Expedia, you can use the filters to search for a kitchen— just one of the conveniences you might find in an apartment. You can even filter by similar property types like condos, holiday homes or cottages.
Why would you choose apartments instead of traditional hotels?
Offering a kitchen for convenient meals, an apartment often has more space than a traditional hotel room. Apartments are a good option for couples looking to stay away from the tourist areas, and also for families who want the conveniences of home.
What can I expect from the weather when I travel to Gore?
Weather is only one factor, but it can really affect your travel plans, especially when you are planning a longer stay in Gore. The hottest months are usually July and August, with an average temperature of 22°C, while the coldest months are January and February, with an average of 2°C. Average annual precipitation for Gore is 1166 mm.
What should I see in Gore?
Explore the area and family-friendly sights such as Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum, or get out into nature at a spot like Cacapon Resort State Park. Rock Harbor Golf Course and Museum of the Shenandoah Valley are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What's the best way to get to and around Gore?
Knowing a bit about the transportation options can you save you a headache when you get to your destination. Fly into Martinsburg, WV (MRB-Eastern West Virginia Regional), which is located 20.7 mi (33.3 km) away from the heart of the city. If you'd like to venture out around the area, you may want to rent a car for your trip.
