Lovely hotel, a good location away from the hustle and bustle of the main touristy areas but with restaurants and nice parks in the vicinity. Pool area a bonus for relaxation and breakfast buffet plentiful.

The pool bartender was especially lovely! Despite being across the river from the city center, it was an easy walk to most areas and an easy taxi ride to the Alhambra.

Saray Hotel

Nice well appointed hotel in the Arabian style. As with the majority of Spanish hotels underground parking can be tight if you have an a larger than average car. Outside pool was closed and appeared to be in the shade all day long so would not suit most travelers.Fairly well located.

Ok hotel, but not worth the price

Ok hotel but one can see it was built many years ago and is in need of an upgrade. Breakfast area and breakfast was not up to standards and price. Clean room and premises.

A Decent Option

A pleasant lobby area and checked in by a very friendly member of staff. Comfortable and clean room. Swimming pool seemed to be closed. Location is good for public transport connections to bus, train station and to Alhambra. Also an easy walk to the Cathedral. Breakfast was quite crowded, a number of your groups in residence. I wonder if the breakfast room is kept unnecessarily hot in order to limit the time one can comfortably spend enjoying the buffet?

Disappointing

Plus points, hotel close to bus stops and center. minus points, the hotel is very tired, bedroom very worn. Just 2 coffee pods per day, no milk,no tea. I complained to the hotel but they would not under any circumstances recognise Hotel.com’s membership benefits, they ignored my Plantinum status completely, didn’t even offer a glass of water. In the last 12 months we’ve stayed 36 days in Granada we love it. We have stayed in the Barceló Congress, Senator and Andalucia centre, all were much better with cheaper and much better quality breakfasts, we were treated much better as well. We will be back in Granada soon in 2025 but we will not go back to the hotel Saray, nor would we recommend it. The Hotel Saray was very disappointing, no customer care whatsoever, the other hotels we mentioned are far far superior.

Who gave this hotel 4 star? It's defiantly more of a motel category. Screams Old. it's nothing what you see in the pictures. It's very dated and need lot of updates. Terrible bathrooms and connecting two twin bed - they sell it as a single bed! you will never know!!! It's far from the city center and added cost of uber/ taxi. Breakfast is very okay only. Not much clean overall. Avoid if you can!

Not hospitable. We were delayed and tried to change booking after midnight cut off, it was not granted. We still had to pay for both rooms. I understood but I have traveled a lot, had my flight delayed for various reasons and never had a hotel change me for a night I didn’t stay. Tacky. There is not coffee in your room and no place to boils water. The shower water doesn’t get hot. The rooms are worn down but the beds were comfortable. The bedding is adequate. The towels were old and scratchy. The breakfast buffet is mediocre and not included. One morning we arrived at the breakfast buffet in an elevator, a staff member told us about. They said we should use it since we have a stroller as it goes all the way to the lower level where the buffet is located. When we came out in the lower level, Manager came up to us and said we couldn’t use it and tried to make us go up and around. We didn’t have much time before breakfast was over and that would have caused us to kiss it. When we passed through a wait person yelled at us to hurry up and eat and that we had five minutes only! I said we didn’t want to impose and would gladly take a refund (50$ two adults two children) and go elsewhere. A nice employee told us to stay and we did but talk about rude! Quite a few rude and aggressive employees who work for an owner presumably with cut throat policies. I would not recommend.

La chambre était propre mais aurait besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement maintenance niveau de la porte de la salle de bain...etc. Le personnel était poli,toujours très disponible. Le petit-déjeuner pourrait être un peu plus varié. Jai pas aimé les frais cachés, cest a dire qu'ils ont mis deux fois des sodas aux frigos que mes enfants ont consommé, sans mon consentement. Et à mon départ que j'ai payé..

Avoid this hotel, this hotel should not even be on Expedia! Picture of the bar on the listing is deceiving but the hotel is old, smells like cigarettes and outdated. Overall a very disappointing stay with very bad customer service. Car was damage in the garage with no one taking any sort of responsibility, hotel was under construction so no pool but we were not notified before our arrival, lobby and common areas smelled like cigarette. Do yourself a favor and skip this hotel as there are so many other options that are better in Granada.
