The people who work here are excellent. The room was clean but the grounds were not kept up. Loud late night parties were allow at a neighboring room. There are better choices for not much more near by.

BED BUGS! BEWARE! This place is horrible! The pool is green, the AC didn’t work properly and rattled, the room smelled putrid. We also we unfortunate enough to wake up to a bed bug infestation. When we went to the front desk to discuss and asked for the Manager the clerk acted like they didn’t understand what we were talking about and kept asking us if he had a dog, we had no pets fyi. The clerk asked for our info and said it would be given to the manager to contact us, we haven’t heard from anyone. I also emailed the property with no response. We left and destroyed our luggage to not transport the bed bugs elsewhere. I do have pictures for reference.

I’ve been coming to Granbury for a long long time usually staying here while visiting family. It’s probably been 3 maybe 4 years since I’ve been here. However I’ve always stayed at the Lakeview Inn. After this last visit I no longer will. The pool was not open and green and made the courtyard area smell bad. The room Friday night was NOT clean nor did the AC work properly. After attempting to sleep in the room I visited the office, but only after calling someone off site was the night clerk “allowed” to move me to another room. The next room although clean and with working AC smelled horrific. This once used to be a wonderful little Inn to stay in. Now it’s nightmare.

There were bugs all over the room. Trash and gum stuck to the floor. And a dirty/used coffee cup in the stack of cups in our room. Do not stay here. It was not pleasant whatsoever.

Awful! Room wasn’t too bad, no place to put anything…but I am positive the sheets were not changed because other peoples hair was in the bed! Stayed 2 nights and never saw any room service. Called front desk to ask for clean towels and was told they were washing them and I would have to walk up front, turn in my dirty ones to get clean ones!

When we got there toilet had poop stain and pubic hair, and both beds had horrible stains and someones hair on sheets. Mattresses were so hard and thin it was very uncomfortable to sleep. We tried calling front desk to inform them but the phones were not even working in the room. We had intentions of staying another day but not in these conditions. We checked out super early and showed pictures to management at front desk and all he said was sorry for the inconvenience. He never asked if he could make it right or even offered to change our room. We will never return to lake view inn again. I wish that I had somewhere to post these pictures to show you all the conditions that we were left in. We were actually excited about getting away for the weekend and had this horrible experience.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Price was very reasonable. Room was clean and nice size but very basic. Continental breakfast was disappointing. Close to square and lake. It met our needs for the night.

Ongoing renovation is making this hotel noisy and unattractive. A bedside lamp didn't work and the tv signal was erratic. Complimentary coffee was in tiny cups and lukewarm.

I really wanted to like this hotel, but I was disappointed that you couldn’t see the lake, the pool was half-drained and green, and our upstairs neighbors sounded like they were up all night stomping around.

Room was clean and comfortable. Ice machine was broken. Pool was green. Even when pool season is finished it should be clean.
