"The room was clean but the property not so much. There were dirty towels sitting in the hallway all night. There was trash on the ground towards the back of the building. The parking lot needs repair.
There is no carpeting in the rooms which was fine since we stayed there with our dogs. The bed was really tall off the ground and with only one chair in the room there was no place to sit with our dogs. With dachshunds it didn't really work.
The road it was on wasn't too busy so we were able walk...

"Staff was nice. Room wasn't the cleanest but it was ok. Coffee pot was missing in our room. Some thug probably stole it. Who knows. But I would stay there again. If you want freedom over luxury at a good price this is your place. Enjoyed the pool and the lake view. If you want a good lake view make sure you get one of the rooms on the top level. The lack of bed bugs warmed my heart. Thank you Hawks nest!"

"Loved this hotel. We didn't spend much time there, but we were always happy to arrive in the evening. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel felt like it was located on the furthest end. Everything we wanted to do was a 15-20 minute ride (but we were on vacation, so who cares). They could benefit from at least one more restaurant option and maybe cheaper coffee. However, we really enjoyed our time and would happily stay at this hotel...

Ordered food at bar, received 1/2 our order went back and this time was given 2 tacos instead of 3. The bartender Bella refused to tell the 2 people at the bar who were smoking to STOP. Even when we asked her to. Every air-conditionerad water into the walkway asked g it a tripping hazard"

"Normally, I’m not a person That we use a bad review, but this is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s very obvious it’s a drug hotel. They did not even have a flat sheet on the bed between you and the blanket. It was an old nasty blanket. My TV did not work. They brought me some rinky-dink TV then the remote didn’t work on that the beds look like they were just made up from the last person that was there. The grounds were nasty. The room was nasty. It needs to be condemned....
