The room was a king with a sleeper sofa. When using the sleeper sofa the room is so small you can’t walk from the bed around the sleeper sofa to get to the bathroom. We had to shift the furniture around to get enough space to get through. We have stayed at Bonvoy hotels for years & have never had this problem. Besides, this was probably the most we paid for a 1-night stay. I was very disappointed with our stay.

Rooms are dated. Hair on the bathroom floor and in the tub. We didn’t complain as we’re not like that, but what pushes me over the edge is a stupid $10 fee that showed up on my visa for parking our car. Have you ever been to Grand Junction? Pure gouging!

My hair dryer was broken, called down to front desk three time because they didn’t answer. Finally got ahold of someone who said they would check on if they had an extra and bring it up. I ask them to call me back either way so I wasn’t waiting up all night, never heard back. Pool was also the smallest hotel pool I have ever seen.

The receptionist, unfortunately, displayed a less-than-professional demeanor during my visit. Instead of providing a pleasant service, she made me rather uncomfortable in front of numerous others. As someone who reserved two rooms, I anticipated a certain degree of respect and consideration. Find a different place to stay.

The property certainly reflected its advanced age and, regrettably, the bedding resulted in an unpleasant skin reaction. I also came across a staff member whose manners were less than appropriate. Unfortunately, it fell short of the standards I usually associate with the Marriott brand. I would suggest reconsidering your options and looking for alternative accommodations.
