"The hotel was under construction. There was no carpet there was no restroom downstairs. That is pathetic considering what I paid for this room. I should’ve been notified that this hotel was under construction when I made the reservation then I could’ve chosen a hotel that wasn’t in such poor shape Why any hotel would choose to do construction in the springtime when people are actually traveling to Michigan rather than in the dead of winter when nobody’s traveling, I don’t know And why they wouldn’t list on their site that they would be construction again I don’t know. I didn’t pay less because of it. I paid the premium rates for that room. There was no restaurants open. There was nothing. "

"The only positive part of the stay was the front desk attendant. She was pleasant and the process was smooth. The property was appalling. Old dirty water under and around the shampoo bottle. A previous guests sock was just lying on the floor. The room had a foul old dirty smell. The pool area had a large puddle of standing rusty water. The pool was cold murky water with some weird brown and black unknown floating things in it. There were more issues but I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. "
