"Our stay at The Capital Hotel was exceptional! We were in town for a medical procedure and needed somewhere clean, safe, well maintained, and with secure parking. I don’t typically choose downtown accommodations, but this hotel checked every box and exceeded our expectations!
The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially Angela at check-in. Knowing we had an early hospital appointment, she happily arranged for our vehicle to be ready at a specific time the following morning. True to her word, it was waiting when we came downstairs!
We originally planned to order dinner in, but the restaurant was so inviting that we decided to enjoy a date night instead. The food, ambiance, and service were wonderful! When we requested a quieter table, the staff graciously accommodated us without making us feel inconvenienced.
The hotel was beautiful, clean, and remarkably quiet overnight. Our only minor observations were a stain on the drapery that could use some attention and light coming through the curtains from the illuminated interior courtyard even with drapes drawn. We’d request an exterior-facing room next time with the hope of a darker room while sleeping.
What began as a practical overnight stay became a memorable experience. The thoughtful hospitality and attention to detail were outstanding. We would absolutely return and highly recommend The Capital Hotel!"
