"This was my 2nd visit to this property and this stay was just as nice, though shorter. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, the room was clean and the bathroom lighting was great. Our room was a few floors over the outdoor area, which people were enjoying, so it's nice that people can socialize other than in the lobby. "Hopefully it was just a bad one off... but this was perhaps the worst motel stay we ever had. The first room was toxic with air refreshing scent to cover up obvious mildew and pet odor. We were told we couldn't change rooms so we tried to air it out but after a few hours the toxic scent persisted. We went to to check out early and go find another place to stay and at that point we were offered another room. We took that other room and unfortunately it reeked of stale beer. "We only stayed 1 night. Grabbed a quick lunch at the restaurant and our meals were delicious and very reasonably priced. Looks like a nice place for families to stay. They had outdoor picnic areas, a pavilion with fireplace and a campfire area. We didn’t have time to walk around or use any of these amenities.
