"We were a little concerned when we arrived. It was very obviously an older motel and the area outside was not terribly clean. It presents as more of a truck stop type of low budget motor lodge. The room itself was very dated with very basic, older furniture and equipment, no tv. We were confused by the high 9+ rating it received on Expedia. However, it was meticulously clean, everything was in good working order, and the bed was very comfortable. As Christians, we loved the Bible messages and decor, and when we discovered the mission statement and the fact that it was being run as an outreach, we were much more impressed. We happily left a donation and a personal note congratulating them on a job well done. "
