"The property and room were clean and beautiful. The beach did have quite a bit of seaweed. The service was very disappointing. It often took a long time just to place a drink order, and at times the waitstaff seemed to ignore us entirely. This really took away from the overall experience."

"Amazing resort, good drinks, good food, staff was amazing, treated my family and I with a lot of respect. And provided us with whatever was needed. Amazing beach, the only thing that wasn’t to our liking was the pool tiles were falling off. Other than that everything else was great and amazing especially the beach. Had a great time on this resort. "

"I would love to have a conversation with someone who actually cares about the property. This was my first time visiting DR and I would never returned based on the experience at this property. I quite literally have nothing positive to say about the staff and the overall treatment of guests. I won’t waste my time explaining in detail, as nothing was heard while I was there. I will review online so that any potential guests of yours can prepare themselves for what they are getting involved in at oceans. "

"This hotel was terrible and not as advertised. It was dirty, appeared unsafe, and the customer service was disappointing. The desk clerk became very rude, dismissive, and disrespectful when I informed her we were leaving at 4 am because of the conditions."

"We loved our stay! The one bedroom with kitchen was perfect for our family of 4. Pool was big with enough space for everyone. Beach was gorgeous, pretty wavy/dangerous for swimming if untrained. Activities were great, workout area was great and never too busy. Restaurant was also good when we ate/drank there. We loved the ground floor room with walkout to pool area. Construction was a minor annoyance, not bad. They also had an issue with fire alarms going off at night- but did reimburse our resort fee for those days. Overall we would gladly stay again. "
