"The hotel name is deceptive. The hotel is referred to “Alexandria Old Town Area South.” However, the hotel is no way part of Old Town. The hotel is separated from Old Town by Interstate 95 and cannot be accessed by walking. The pool was closed during our stay without any explanation. The hotel required payment for parking but rather than pay at the registration desk they made you use a separate QR system that required going back out to the parking lot. "It is located on the campus of Georgetown University, which is a beautiful campus, the rooms were converted from dorm rooms into hotel rooms, comfortable and clean, not far from downtown Georgetown"
