Ideal stop over if driving through France. Comfortable room and fantastic buffet

Had great rooms with balconies looking over lovely gardens. The pool

Had an amazing 5 night stay at the hotel. The interior is beautiful and clean. Our stay coincided with my girlfriend's 30th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make the day special for her. The spa facilities are also great and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. The hotel is in an ideal location and great for shopping and proximity to restaurants. I can't recommend the hotel enough 10/10.

Brilliant and unusual hotel in Old Lyon - wonderful service - quirky and unusual rooms - and the best Concierge in the world! We had a superb meal in Les Loges and another lovely meal at L'Epicerie but from the moment we arrived we had wonderful advice and assistance from Gerard - the amazing Concierge - he made the holiday for us and his suggestions for sightseeing, etc. were invaluable.

Lovely hotel, well placed to enjoy all that Lyon has to offer. Modern, clean and well equipped. The bedroom was a good size and the hotel has good sound-proofing. Breakfast was excellent with standard hotel offerings plus some local produce. Located a short distance from the banks of the Rhône in the new town, we were able to access everywhere on foot easily and, while the old town may be more photogenic, it can feel a bit touristy; we preferred being slightly outside and eating where the...

Good

On a long journey rest is important and this hotels easy access to the major roads provides that ideal change of scene, place to rest in comfort with good food. The pool looks appealing although not used on our trip. We have stayed twice and would certainly stay again

This is a very cool hotel!! We absolutely loved our family room which consisted of two interconnected rooms! The decor and layout was perfect and we slept very well!! We also appreciated them accomodating our large and tall car in the front car park. Only negatives were that the restaurant was closed so no food onsite but the lovely guy on reception booked us a table at Chez Carlo (a pizza place nearby). The pool is also in a building next door and has lots of rules about costumes men wear...

Le Clos de Anges is a lovely Guest House is finished to a very high standard. The decor was beautiful and a lot of thought has gone into making this a very special place indeed. A rare find . The owner Gale spent a lot of time making sure our stay was a special one even arranging food for us when we arrived later the expected. It is very close to Lyon and the Autoroute so ideally situated. We will definitely return.

Convenient modern apartment/hotel close to the centre of Lyon. Very convenient for tram, metro, rail and Velo'V bike network so easy to get around. Lyon is a major city with lots to see from Renaissance architecture to contemporary developments. Many of the buildings are lit up at night. There are also impressive parks including a zoo, lake and botanical gardens and many events (e.g. musical) taking place.

Pleasant stay within walking distance of train station. Receptionist kindly stored our luggage upon request in the morning which we collected during check-in that afternoon.

Really welcoming!

Charles, our host was very welcoming and helped us with ideas of things to do in the area. The pool was perfect in the warm weather and we enjoyed relaxing in the peaceful environment.

Great location just off the autoroute, lovely hose and super helpful host. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more.
