"The thing that really stood out was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we encountered. From check-in to check-out everyone was welcoming and always with a smile… which is even more impressive as it was quite busy and there were other guests I observed who could have been kinder. I booked for the price but would return for the service."

"Catering staff were not well trained we had to wait over an hour for a toasted sandwich in their cafe, house has hit and miss with no bath at had to ask reception. Other guests in our group only had one cup in the room etc"

"Disappointed having to drag luggage up the external stairs - nice to have access to elevator inside whicwas out of order by checkout next morning. Staff on hand to help carry luggage out though. Room super cosy and heating in separate bathroom area was a surprise, loved the decor. Handy to everything in town. Thank you"
