The staff were amazing and the property was very comfortable. Parking was easy to find on the street, and there are some great options for restaurants and beaches nearby. We'll definitely stay again!

The hotel staff was very friendly and kind. The location is amazing, it is a 3 -4 min walk from where the ferry drops you off. They gave free breakfast every morning with so many selections. My only downfall was the bathroom being tight but that is expected for most of Greece. I would stay again.

Little gem
The hotel was fab. There were three of us so we booked a room for four. Turns out we got two bedrooms with a big big balcony overlooking the town. The free breakfast was also fantastic with everything you would need to keep you going for the day. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

We loved the hospitality of the family owed hotel ! They were so warmly welcomed and plan to return next year. Demetrius was over and beyound to help us even let us take shower after we had check out for the day.

Good location
The best thing about this property is the closeness to the port. The bed was quite squeaky and hard, and the first night the room absolutely reeked of cigarettes. I told the front desk about the smell and they did seem to fix it, but there was still a lingering smell. The breakfast was decent with a wide range of options.

Excellent hotel in great location
The hotel is literally 2-3 minutes walking distance from the port and the restaurants, stores at Adamos. Excellent breakfast served by the hotel folks. The front desk people and other employee of the hotel are super friendly and took lot of time to answer any question related to the island. I highly recommend this hotel at Milos.

Milos great island
Milos was my favorite island, compared to Santorini and Mykonos. Small town, archeological sites: Catacombs, Roman theatre and Milos of Venus site....lovely walking around port and beach town.

I very much enjoyed my stay here, despite it being the offseason, and there not being too many available food options (Although there are a decent number of options, most places were closed since it was early March, and things don't usually start picking up til around Easter). The customer service was excellent, and the breakfast buffet was good and had plenty of good options to get you going for the day. Please give my regards to The Captain! Yasas!

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Capetan Giorgantas. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the port - about a 5-minute walk, tops. We were thankful for a quick walk to the hotel after our ferry had been delayed multiple times that day! The hotel was accommodating to our needs throughout our stay. They provided beach towels at our request at no cost and helped us navigate the island. Checking in and out was simple. We didn't have time to use the pool area but we could see it from our window and it looked very nice. After our checkout, they offered to store our luggage in their reception area for the day until our ferry later that evening.

Rooms were easy to get to. The family owners were very helpful with smiles. The grocery and restaurants were in walking distance from hotel. Balconies need to have a hole in the floor to insert umbrellas so the wind will not blow it away. Overall loved the hotel.

My husband and I took the ferry from Santorini to Milos to do a half-day boat tour in the afternoon. We needed somewhere to stay overnight because the ferries leaving at night were sold out. I pre-booked this hotel because it was conveniently a 7-9min walk from the Milos ferry port. We were a little confused about where it was because the sign for the hotel was in Greek and not listed as “Capetian Giorgantas” but we eventually found it because there was a flag in front of the hotel with the hotel name in English. It’s found on the main street. It’s also next to a bunch of shops and restaurants found along the port. The room itself was very clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I believe I had booked a double room but the room we were in had a queen size bed with a balcony view overlooking the port, restaurants, shops and the beautiful water. It was breathtaking. We only stayed for the night but I would say that we would come back again. The staff was very pleasant, spoke English and attended to our needs. The hotel is on a busy street so it was still loud at night but my husband and I didn’t mind. There is a pool at this hotel, but we didn’t utilize it. From what I saw, it was clean and well maintained. The hotel also provided a hair dryer, toothbrushes, robes, slippers, shampoo, shower gel and bottled water. There was also a mini-fridge in the room. Breakfast is also served on the first floor of the lobby area.

This hotel was super cute and in a fantastic location to the port and the main little town. We were able to park around the block and could walk to shops and dinner. Our room was perfect. We had a cute little balcony over looking the pool, a great modern room with room to move around our luggage. A tradition Greek breakfast was served and the staff was always very friendly and accommodating.

I cannot recommend this property enough. It is steps from the water, restaurants, and shops, and has a real fishing village vibe. The island is amazing if you like to explore and the staff at this hotel are the best. It was off season but they did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We were greeted by the owner of the hotel on a Sunday afternoon and he was present and inquisitive about our comfort each time we left our room. Breakfast was also really good and a part of our stay. Our room had a great view of the water, was always clean, as was the rest of the hotel. I can ramble on about how much we enjoyed our stay but like any good stay it is the staff that makes the difference and our stay was amazing!

We rented two rooms, one room was better than the other. One had nicer furniture and chairs and table for the balcony . The other only had folding chairs for the balcony. Both rooms were close to the dining and lobby area which was okay if the outer door was closed but because there are 3 rooms, someone kept leaving the outer door open which means you had a lot of noise in the room. The staff was very friendly and is the only reason I would consider staying there again. The hotels is a short walk from the port so the location is good.

Great value and perfect location!
We decided to stay here based off of a recommendation from our friend who stayed here on a previous trip. We absolutely loved the location of Capetan Giorgantas! It was close enough to the port as well that we could walk. The team working the front desk at the hotel are so friendly and accommodating. We felt very safe as everyone was required to wear masks and gloves during breakfast, and the girl handling breakfast made sure to enforce this with all guests, which we felt better about. Our only complaint is the bathrooms. Our shower was so small I could barely fit in it. There was also a terrible smell coming out of the drain but we kept the door to the bathroom closed at all times, which helped. Otherwise, the room is very clean and the fridge is so convenient. We would definitely recommend this to our friends and family when visiting Milos!

Great for a quick stopover.
A lovely little hotel, a few minutes walk from the port. Lovely and clean, comfortable bed, fab bed linen and great WiFi!! Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was really good, a great selection of good quality food. Because of social distancing, you could look what there was, then a member of staff brought you what ever you wanted. However many times you liked. A quiet, little pool made this hotel a fab little find. Highly recommended!

Amazing time at this family-owned hotel.
Hotel Capetan was absolutely amazing! Throughout our time on Milos, we stayed at several hotels. This was our favorite by far! The front desk workers are so friendly, positive, and helpful. We felt so comfortable asking them for advice and chitchatting. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with lots of different options from sautéed mushrooms, to sunny-side up eggs, to chocolate crescants, to an entire yogurt parfait bar. The room itself was larger and nicer than I expected. And our bathroom shower was also unexpectedly luxurious. The photos online do not do Hotel Capetan justice. My boyfriend and I were extremely pleasantly surprised! We loved our time there and would definitely come back again! It’s a quaint and relaxing hotel. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Situata in zona centrale, quindi molto comoda per i servizi ed i negozi di ogni genere molto vicini, è gestita da persone molto gentili e cordiali. La colazione è molto varia e la pulizia è più che sufficiente. La camera che mi hanno assegnato è spaziosa ed arredata in modo molto originale. Sono stato molto bene e la consiglio volentieri.
