"The room was very clean and cozy, and the owner was incredibly nice and hospitable. My favorite part of the stay was the breakfast and the free cookies. What really stood out to me was how accommodating the owner was. My brother decided to join us last minute even though I had booked for only three people. I reached out to let her know, and she kindly updated the booking to four guests without any extra charge. I truly appreciated her flexibility and hospitality. I definitely recommend!"

"When reserving this significantly priced location, we were seeking a room that had a kitchenette in reality. The kitchenette that exist in these facilities is not sufficient for the type of traveler who wishes to make meals of any sort within the premise there is no venting for additional moisture caused by boiling water or smells caused from cooking something with onions for example, there were no sharp knives no capability of cutting some sort of vegetable or fruit the setting is beautiful....

"I was there for only one night. The room was very uncomfortably hot. I opened the window, but there was no screen."

"I've stayed here before and love it and this experience was good, but I was disappointed that I did not have hot water in my shower- Luke warm at best. I told staff, but they said the room notoriously had no hot water. Hot tub was out of order ( had to go next door to use theres), and lacked basic coffee/tea in room ( coffee was downstairs though and good). It's super cozy and has lots of little fires in the lobby area with seating areas that I love. Live music was fantastic. "

"I was in Stowe last weekend and broke my shoulder so the next day I stopped by the Grey Fox inn to ask the if they could please cancel my reservation because of my accident. I was aware I had made the reservation through Expedia and was also aware that the cancelation date was over due. I explained the situation to the front desk girls (2) and both said I had to contact Expedia. I did, Expedia contacted the hotel and the hotel said no...I'm sure they double sold my room since they know I was not...

"I was lucky to stay in the recently renovated part of hotel. the room was modern, clean and cleverly designed. I was far from the common areas but that was not a problem bc there was a enclosed bridge so I did not have to go outdoors. I enjoyed the hot tub. The continental breakfast was simple and good: pastries, yogurt and breads. Stowe Bowl had a fun vibe and the wings were very good. The staff was EXCELLENT - helpful and friendly. "

"Spacious and clean room. Staffs were friendly. Love the pancakes and french toasts in the morning. Also they provide afternoon tea :’). Feels amazing to have a cup of onion soup after coming back from skiing."

"We enjoyed our stay at the inn especially coming to a hot tub after a whole day on the slopes. Breakfast was delicious and coffee was always fresh. Our room was nice and clean with a wonderful view to the mountain. We were on the lower floor so we could hear a lot of noise from the guests upstairs which was the only downside. "

"Everything was clean and comfortable. Though I understand the economic advantages of using plastic cups, I think glassware should be available for drinking all beverages. Upgrading the breakfast danish and muffins would be nice - local bakery perhaps ? "

"I just want to say how unbelievably rude, off putting and un helpful the concierge is! I have never experienced such poor hospitality in all of my travels. Glaring at me as I approached her. So unwilling to offer any information besides a old marked up peice of paper with scratched out phone numbers. Not even a hello or welcome. As some who also works in hospitality I’ve never seen such a poor display in my career from any co workers either. If she hates her job so much she should quit instead...
