"Paid an outrageous amount (it was a long weekend) for what seemed like a 2 star hotel. Beds not comfy and hoards of people running down the hallways yelling and banging on doors all night long. Barely slept. It was our worst stay in Ireland and don't recommend it. I asked the front desk for a reduced rate because we were woken up every hour in the night with people yelling in the hallways and they said "a manager would get back to me" That never happened. "The hotel runs with the efficiency of a well-oiled machine. The staff are polite and very attentive while the food is to a very high standard overall. Our room was cosy and clean, although the absence of a lift can prove problematic for anyone with a disability. Well located, the hotel affords easy access to the surrounding area. Overall, the hotel exudes a homely feel, offering good food, attentive service and comfortable accommodation."
