Inns in Greene County

We stayed 3 nights over 4th July holidays and had an amazing time. The staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and never failed to ask if there was more they could do -everyone was so friendly from the moment we arrived . Location is stunning and lots to do . Our only gripe was finding our room not made up at 3.30pm after being out all day but the hotel was busy and I suppose someone has to be last !

I had a very comfortable stay here for a couple of nights. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Everything I look for in a motel. The wi fi worked well, TV was good. Only thing lacking was limited toiletries and no coffee in rooms which h is pretty standard in most hotels.

Ignore bad reviews from the past, has Obviously been refurbished, rooms well decorated and very clean. Breakfast room small but nice. One of the better breakfasts we have had including at more expensive properties. Not much in area though ok for a stopover. Beds comfy

This is a beautiful, well maintained and expertly furnished property. There are so many places, including the pool area, to sit, relax and listen to and watch the wildlife. It is set in wonderful grounds and extensive countryside with amazing views. We had breakfast daily which was plentiful and tasty and the service from staff was excellent throughout our stay. We did not ride, but if you are a horse rider this is a great place to stay. The nearby town of Madison (about a 15 min car journey) is...

Lovely property. Rooms fab, and the town is delightful. Downside, the pump dispenser of shampoo in the shower did not work and actually thenother two weren't great either. Also, the breakfast is very limited and the carboard coffee cups leaked all over clothing. These points aside, the property is lovely and I would recommend.

It is very well located to downtown Athens. There are buses that provide transport around the different colleges. The staff were all pleasant and efficient. There is a small gym which was very convenient. Breakfast was reasonably varied and lunch at the Savannah restaurant was good. Groome airport shuttle stops at the hotel and there is ample paid parking available.

Big rooms, with very comfortable beds. Emily the Manager is on hand for anything you neeed.

Foyer / reception modern, bright, clean, spacious. Room large and comfortable. Bathroom very modern. Gym pretty compact with just free weights and small number cardio machines. Free breakfast okay - basic! Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Great coffee at Jittery Joes. Too far to walk to UGA - I was told just over mile but it’s more like 2-2.5 miles. Good size car park.
