I really liked the place. The pictures do not do it justice. The bedding is very comfortable and shower and gym were great. The continental breakfast was very good.
We were very happy with our stay but we had a difficult situation that happened.
On 12/31/25 @ 3:00 am/4:00 am on NY Eve a fire alarm went off. It went off for 45 minutes. No fire department showed up. There was no one at the hotel reachable to help us. We learned from the fireman and police man that eventually came after I called 911 that this happens from time to time because the hot shower water in a particular room triggers the fire alarm . It was a long story that was very alarming because had an actually fire occurred no one came. The alarm went off very loudly through the entire hotel for 45 minutes. I and my family were concerned because there was no one to speak to and no one who came did any type of investigation to check in the rooms and what if it was an emergency how would they know that. I went to the room myself and knocked and checked on the person as the alarm was marked with the room number that triggered the alarm. Apparently that room has a problem. I just was very concerned that fires and emergencies happen and there should be a better safety protocol. I think no matter what every room should be checked regardless. Maybe I am wrong but I work in a school and we have safety practices in place and this was frightening and concerning since no one was managing the safety of the hotel guests.
