"Clean, convenient to the Blue Lagoon (2 min drive) and airport (20 min). Great as a one night stop, which it was for us. The price tag is a bit crazy for what it is (an old ski lodge meets Holiday Inn), but that is expected for just about anywhere we stayed in Iceland. To our surprise (we had a few subpar experiences eating at hotels in Iceland) the restaurant was solid. "10 minutes from Blue Lagoon and on the way to Selfoss, the guesthouse is in great location. It was clean and well partitioned. We’re a family of 4 with teenage sons. It kept the family together and gave us our privacy. For the price, you cannot get anything like it in Iceland"

"Such a cute place to stay! Very quiet, clean, and has a great view of the ocean from every view of the property. The horses at the entrance of the property were a pleasant surprise! I would definitely stay here again. The door was a little confusing on how to lock, but it’s my fault for not reading the instructions word for word that were right in front of my face lol"

"The breakfast was included and it was exceptional! The jacuzzi, sauna and cold plunge are found in the gym next door, a little strange to get to but wonderful facilities. The location was perfect for starting and finishing our trip to Iceland."

"Great location for taking the international flights. It’s clean and welcoming. The self check in and checkout are convenient. Just the key knobs for the shared bathrooms are too old. It’s easily for kids or even adults to lock themselves in the bathroom and have to call for help to open the door from outside."

"The room was very small, but still had basic amenities like a coffee maker. The hotel is located in between two pretty busy roads though, and one has larger vehicle traffic earlier in the morning and into the evening. The room was very clean though and the self check-in process was pretty easy. Lots of parking too."

"It’s really an airport hotel, in walking distance from the the terminal. Room size is generous. No much around the hotel, it’s convenient for an overnight stay if you have early flight to catch."

"I wrote the hotel about a week before I was in need of a shuttle to from the airport. They still have not responded. Taxi drivers charged an absurd amount. Meter said 800 Icelandic kroner. Charged 4000 each way Driver would not change 4000 Each way hotel would not reimburse I could have stayed in a better rated hotel for less money after adding in the taxi charge"
