"Staff was excellent"

"My room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave a big plus! I normally stay at a different hotel when I come up to visit my family but I decided to try this hotel. I wasn't sure how it would be but I was pleasantly surprised! Clean, quiet and the gentleman who always seems to be at the front desk.. I'm sorry I can't remember his name is awesome! I was there for 3 weeks and I loved it! 10/10"

We even considered canceling our dinner reservations to stay in! This is the perfect place to get away from the noise and busyness of the world. "Latchis Hotel has great character and a great location in downtown Brattleboro. It’s about 40 minutes from Mt. Snow and 50 to Okemo so a good base for us since we planned to ski both. Our room was clean, linens all perfectly fresh. Room was spatious enough for our family of four, comparable to the room sizes in the chain hotels. Padded benches at the foot of each bed were nice looking and very handy. Decor is funky - our room had a record player and some vinyl, rose red walls, older plumbing fixtures in the bathroom but all spotless and functional. We liked the personality of the place. The proprietors were helpful, friendly and kept in touch with us regarding our late arrival. Big plus is being in Brattleboro, which has some fine places to eat, several a few minutes walk from the hotel. Latchis also has a movie theater (full size, real deal) and bar of its own. All in all an affordable, easy to like place to stay. "
