Beautiful grounds and beach are the main selling points for this resort, with absolutely beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend this property if you're looking for a private, quiet, luxury resort vs. the others closer to Rodney Bay that are more crowded. Love how it felt like you had the beach to yourself, without needing to compete with other guests for a spot on the beach or pool. The food here is okay, a little bland but the pressed coffee we got every morning at breakfast was amazing. I'd recommend venturing out to other local restaurants for dinner, and the front desk can help arrange a taxi for about $50 U.S. round trip. The downsides here are that the service isn't that great for a five-star resort depending on who you get but they were still accommodating. The room we had didn't have an outlet near a mirror for the hairdryer they provided but maintenance was able to build an extension cord for us quickly.

Our stay at the Calabash exceeded all expectations. The resort provides every amenity needed for a relaxing, all-in-one getaway — from its private beach and complimentary water sports to the pool, restaurant, gym, and spa. The staff’s warmth and hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. It’s an ideal place to stay while exploring the north side of the island.

The room was clean. However the tub had a crack that had attempted to be sealed and wasnt sealed properly. The tub water never got hot and took over an hour to fill only 6 inches just to the jets this was disappointing because i love nighly baths we only took 1 in the 7 days because it was not warm enough. Besides the tub we were woke up daily from kitchen clanking and noises in room 201 we were also kept awake a couple evenings because of kitchen noise. In this room you could also hear the neighbors small dog barking to be let in thier house often which prevented afternoon naps for me when i was expecting waves and quiet away from our busy home. The women rarely smiled but Teddy was a delight friendly and helpful. We booked private dinner on the beach and they had another booking also so the server was running between the 2 and it took a really long time. We also had massages on the beach where the therapists were 10 min late it was supposed to be an 80 minute session and the y finished in under 50 minutes according to our picture details that show time stamp. When we told concierge about this we recieved an email saying they were sorry and if staying agin soon they would give another service. NO NOT GOING THERE AGAIN!!!! This was one of the most expensive trips my husband and I got to take together and not somewhere i would return to, on that island. Didnt love it, had beautiful views but not worth the price for all the inconvenience we even tried checking out early.
Bonfire the massage ladies told us were for everyone we got dressed went back to beach and we were told it was private event not done weekly for everyone. Ugh!

Stayed in Cottage 1 which was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Teddy, who always had a smile. Used the private pool at some point of the day, every day, just to relax and enjoy the beautiful view.

My wife and I came here for our Honeymoon and the staff went above and beyond to make our time there something we will never forget. Kevin the concierge, was very helpful and gave us advice on things to do. Hands down this was the best service we have ever received. We can’t wait to come back!

Calabash Cove felt like our own little world. The view was amazing, and the property was so quiet and peaceful. Most times we had the beach to ourselves! Definitely recommend: a spa treatment (the sampler is amazing), using the stand-up paddleboard, laying in the float rings in the ocean, having lunch at the swim up bar.

Tried my hardest to have a positive outlook on my honeymoon, but there's only so much one can take. We paid $15,000 USD for a 10-night all-inclusive stay. At that price point, we weren’t expecting true 5-star luxury, but we certainly weren’t expecting the worst vacation of our lives. This resort doesn’t even feel like 4 stars. The furniture was dated and stained with who-knows-what, and there were ants crawling everywhere, on the bar counter, sofas, walls, balcony, absolutely everywhere. On night two, a live cockroach waltzed into our living room. We called the concierge, and someone came to tell us the room would be sprayed again the next day, which they likely did while we were out. Night four is when things really went south. As we were about to sleep, I heard rustling by the bedside table. I checked a sealed bag of plantain chips sitting there and found an uneven opening near the top, clear signs of a rodent trying to get in. Horrified, we called the concierge again. Two staff members showed up quickly, searched the room thoroughly (even moving the bed), and eventually caught something. I regret asking to see it, what I saw will haunt me forever. After that, there was no way I could sleep in that room, so they moved us to a different cabin. That room's AC didn’t cool properly despite being set to 16°C, but honestly, I was too scared to sleep anyway. There’s very little to do at this resort beyond lounging by the pool or beach.
