To start off you almost a four-wheel drive vehicle to get to the property because it's up the side of a mountain on a little tiny very rough very steep deer trail. The property manager allowed outside guests to come and had very very loud drunken pool parties.

It was a beautiful home, and the host was very responsive. Flavor on the Grill down the street was lovely for dinner. The quiet and the views were wonderful. Not recommended for anyone with severe cat allergies though. There are a number of cats around outside and on the balcony. Convenient to Pigeon Island, the Jump up and Castries.

Very nice place.

Awesome place to stay. You'll need a car with good clearance, the driveway is steep and rough. Only drawback was kids running back and forth upstairs which was very annoying.

Really nice place and nice people.

The place is fine, the room is clean, internet access is good and the guests are really nice people. The only problem is the location, you need a car to be able to come and go, is not possible to go walking. No supermarket or restaurants at walking distance, even if you want to go to the beach you need to rent a car or call a taxi. You are at the top of a hill, accessible only by car.

The location of the villa is excellent very tranquil very breezy. One thing about the location you must have transportation if you want to get in and out you either rent a car or arrange a taxi. The access road to the property is in poor condition this is a shared road so the owners of the villa are not responsible but it was a sore point for me.

Truly Flamboyant

The place was beautiful and very comfortable. Very much like home. The view was very good and our hosts were hospitable and nice. I would hope that the road to the location is fixed. Climbing the hill on a rough and rocky path was a cause for concern each time we desired to leave the house. If the road is fixed, I will gladly stay there again for 50% more money than I paid for it.

Fake Flamboyant

We saw the place and decided not to stay. The website photos are totally different to the reality. I came to St Lucia to relax not to climb a monstrosity of a hill everyday. The security is a dead lock on the door. The property could easily be broken into if someone wanted to I would not have been comfortable leaving my personal belongings there. The proprietor Patricia sent me a very rude email when I suggested her establishment would be more suitable for Native St Lucians who would be more familiar with the territory. She stated i was being discriminatory. I live in London and though I may stay in certain areas of London I wouldn't expect someone from overseas to stay in those areas and would understand any fears they may have through their unfamiliarity and a right to safe guard themselves if they felt uncomfortable. My parents were St Lucian and I take great pride in my heritage. I will be looking for a full refund. I will not be out pocketed for a stay i decided not to take because the standard was not up to scratch despite Patricia indicating in her email what did I expect for 60 dollars a night. This is no way to address people when you are doing business. The first rule of business is the customer is always right.

Lovely Studio

Studio was well stocked and very clean. It was better than the pictures with a nice kitchen and bathroom and all of the amenities I would expect in a vacation rental. The owners were super helpful and sent a very detailed email with instructions for the unit plus driving directions. It gave us a great base to explore the island on our own which is our kind of vacation. Easy driving access to Windjammer resort, Rodney Bay and Pigeon Island. I would note that we had an all wheel drive subaru impreza rental and struggled with the low clearance on the drive up the unit so I would recommend a high clearance 4x4.

Terrible location

Warning!!! DO NOT STAT AT THIS LOCATION, VERY MISLEADING. The owner fails to tell you the area is not good and the road leading to the Villa is awful. We rented a car and we barely made it up to the Villa, it's muddy and in terrible condition...You will be disappointed. You will need to spend extra money and rent a 4 wheel drive and it's not worth it. If you stay at this Villa their is absolutely nothing to do near it and you will not want to drive every day up and down that road. We stayed one night and left, we decided to leave this place and go to a resort. We lost all our money, the owner refused to reimburse us any of our money we payed and I told her we were not satisfied and it was misleading. We ended up staying at the, Windjammer resort...it was lovely and we enjoyed our stay. I definitely recommend you stay at the Windjammer resort.. you will be satisfied.

Great place and owners!

Fantastic place to stay to relax and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We came to the island for a wedding and planned to stay at three different places over the week. This place was first, it was close to the wedding resort and looked pretty nice from the listing. The apartment has plenty of space and is quite nice, we did just relax there for a good amount of time. The first night we arrived we did go to the Gros Islet street party, the owners even gave us a ride and hung out for a while! The second place we booked was not nice, we actually only stayed there a few hours and decided to leave. We asked the owners if this place was open for the next two nights and it was, so we came back for two more nights. We would definitely stay here again!

Flamboyantly excellent...

Very nice villa with a spectacular view in Trouya. Perfect location for the northern part of St. Lucia. A few amenities could be improved (need a toaster, for example), but it was really great overall. And the hosts even supplied coals for a family BBQ we hosted.

The villa was amazing...it lived up to and surpassed our expectactions. It was a little hard to find at first and the roads leading to it were quite rugged but when we made it, we instantly fell in love. It's gorgeous, wide open spaces, airy with lots of light and an open floor plan. The master bedroom was simply perfect. Beautiful bathrooms. The place was pristine. The only thing missing was a pool and a hot tub. The veiws from both the master bedroom and the patio were awe inspiring. I could spend hours just looking out at the soothing and calming view. The villa had all the necessary amenities and comforts... I loved the kitchen...it really does look just as it is in the pictures...no actually it looks better. We met with our host, Patricia, on the second day of our stay and she was quiet welcoming...but for the most part our hosts were inobtrusive though they did leave us their contact info if we needed them for anything... It was heartbreaking to leave but we would definitely return.

Beautiful home away from home

The Flamboyant Villa is a beautiful, spacious home with amazing valley and sea views. My fiance and I spent a week calling it home as the first leg of our multi-town visit on the island. Two weeks before our stay, the owners Patricia and Justin, sent very detailed instructions for accessing the property, driving directions, and other good to know information. They were gracious hosts and communicated, as needed, before and throughout our stay. The road leading up to the villa was bumpy at best (and definitely requires a 4x4 SUV) but well worth it once we reached the end.The villa had been updated recently and reflected throughout the house. There is an electronic key code lock on the door and an alarm system managed by a key fob. The villa was meticulously clean, with a fully equipped and well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The laundry room has a dryer, which was a nice surprise given many in the Caribbean sun-dry their clothes. WiFi worked great throughout the house and on the wonderfully expansive terrace, where we spent much of our time soaking in the views. The two guestrooms were a good size with comfy beds, AC, and again amazing views. The master suite was much larger, with a sitting area and large windows overlooking the valley below. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Flamboyant Villa, and would definitely rent it again and recommend it to others.
