Our room was reasonable although smaller than others with a tiny TV. Still, the room was quiet even though near the action and the staff was helpful. We like the hotel. You should know that parking is pretty limited. The location is very good and the hotel was charming.

If you are looking for a modern hotel this is not for you, for me the colonial charm of the hotel is a wonderful experience. The staff is wonderful and helpful! Will look forward to staying there again in the future!

Historic hotel in the heart of Zona Centro next to the Jardín Union, this is a lovely property with a friendly, helpful staff. All of Guanajuatos treasures are within a few blocks’ walk—the funicular to the Pipila monument, the Diego Rivera House Museum, the Alhóndiga, and the Museum of Don Quixote Iconography. We will be staying at this property for our next visit.

Overall, a very nice older hotel right in the middle of Old Guanajuato. The positive was convenience and the negative was a lot ot street noise. Service was generally good, e.g., a helpful server who guided us through a tequila tasting. On the other hand, we had a server for breakfast who was hostile and not helpful.
