Farmstay in Guano

A person who likes a spotless, modern facility will not find this to their liking. We are antique buffs, and to live in a 50 year-old stone house with the main rooms on the planta baca and the sleeping rooms above. as would have been the custom in the old days, was a delight. The room and bath were charming, and the suitable décor was carefully chosen [and for sale]. The entire structure is made of stone--hence The Roka--and survived the earth quake of 1949 in tact. Johan was super helpful, giving lots of recommendations and advice. The room was great with a beautiful view. Breakfast was huge and delicious.

Arrived after a long drive so were thrilled to see this beautiful hotel tucked away from the main road. The staff were brilliant and the rooms amazing. We had log fires burring in our rooms ech night. restaurant was fantastic. Liked it all so much we stayed an extra night. would recommend it to everyone.

Excellent decor and fittings. Very comfortable rooms which were spacious and modern. Staff were super helpful in finding us a nearby gym to use when the hotels gym was out of order.

Great location next to waterfall and close to centre of town. The hotel buildings and rooms are much better than the website pictures. Enjoyed the pool, spa and breakfast and even had a massage. Really enjoyed our stay.

It was a real treat to find an Expedia hotel that didn't disappoint. We were travelling Latin America and it was a real pleasure to stay at La Posada del Arte. The decor is fabulous and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt welcome and comfortable in this hotel. We only stayed one night as we had a strict time schedule.
