The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated. A few days before arrival, I was told to call a number or go to a building that wasn’t clearly identifiable on Google Maps and wasn’t actually opposite the bus terminal as stated. On the day, I then received multiple WhatsApp messages about collecting the keys—difficult to manage without mobile data, meaning I had to find WiFi just to check in.
On arrival, the floors had clearly just been mopped and were still wet, leaving footprints immediately. There were also several maintenance issues: the flush button wasn’t connected so had to be operated manually, towels had stains, the door was misaligned and difficult to close, and the WiFi became very slow once more than two devices were connected.
Noise was a big problem. The walls aren’t soundproofed at all, and neighbours played loud TV and music until around 1:30am. Given their disregard for noise in night hours and what sounded like multiple people drinking, we were too intimidated to confront them.
There were no clear check-out instructions either. As we needed to catch our bus, I decided to leave the apartment unlocked and send a hidden location of the keys.
Overall, this did not feel like a well-managed stay and I wouldn’t recommend it.
